Check out how much cooler #4 is running than the front three pipes...weird.

woah... i didn't even see #4 back there till you mentioned it. wonder if it has anything to do with the fact that the other pipes are not close to it and thus there's no radiant heat to keep all of it's heat from dissipating?
 
Could be the lack of other pipes near the #4 pipe, but it sorta looks like #4 isn't getting as much fuel as the rest to me...

I wonder why only twins. In australia that engine comes factory with 4. Brain edit. It maybe the military that does that. Whoever does it, you know it smokes:bow:
 
The ones down under are a different critter. Those were in the old Titans.
Every V8 Mack I have seen has only had one turbo. And there are still quite a few running around out there.

Actually Mack just released the new Titan with the new 16 liter engine.
