Just thought I'd let everyone know that if your a slacker like me and want to book a room in Moab, you'd better hurry.
Lots of places are full for our weekend because of a music Festival that weekend.
They are also charging a lot for most.
FYI :woot:

You mean the sound of V8 power running through questionable exhaust wasn't enough noise for the weekend?

Bowen: Yes, the last few years. Walking distance to Zax. 'Nuff said. :)

Actually: Slightly outdated typical motel room, reasonably clean, coffee at the front office to hold you over until you get to Starbucks, The Eclectic Cafe (yeah, well, they're hippies, but their quad espresso in the morning ain't half bad...), or the Texaco station (their espresso is tops in my book...). Jailhouse Cafe for breakfast is good; even the espresso/coffee at the drive-thru across the street isn't half bad... can you tell I like a strong coffee in the morning...:)

well, I liked the looks of Big Horn , and their price, so we are there.

We will see everyone, and we will have our 3 month old for his first trip to Moab.

Well. It's walking distance to the Brewery, right? :D

How is it that I have not seen the Chevy logo motel before?

Wife made reservations today. 75 a night, non smoking, king bed, back side of motel up against the hill. They were booked for Sunday night. So we will wheel Sunday and head east. Find something on the way home.

We are staying there this year. Are you? I guess I need to bring my coffee pot :D. and I thought I could leave it at home. I didn't see that the Bighorn had rooms. Both have questionable parking for trailer/tow rigs but we'll figure something out (motel 6 field?). Oh well, trying to save a buck.
See you all there!!! :woot::woot::woot:

I called into the bighorn, they had at least one, I couldn't justify $130 at the motel6, this place was $110, which is better, but I didn't see any for $75 a night like Wade got, but then again, I did most of my looking at online reservations.

Nope, not going to make it this year after all. I'm off to Germany next week to look after my mom.

We'll miss you, but you gotta take care of family first.

Thanks. But this situation may cut my 'wheeling short for some time to come, not just for this 'Bash. We'll see. Anyway, you guys know how to make BB posters, right? :) ;)
