How big is the opening in the fan shroud for our trucks?

I don't have a shroud here at the moment, so I can't measure for myself. I'm talking 73-80 rigs with two peice fan shrouds btw.

If they are 19" like I hope they are, I have a really cool idea I'm gonna try

Ah, might be installing a second Jeep part on my truck!

Another thing I should ask, though totally unrelated, what is the proper length of a hydraulic throwout bearing from an 85 - 87 truck with an SM465?

Crap, winds up I don't have the right throwout bearing installed Get to pull the trans out again to replace it -- With a broken arm no less...

Oh well, figure out if the jeep part will work, and lift the rear first until the arm is better, lol
