How come I can't spin my front tires with a healthy 454

Didn't work like that for me.

I've tried just spinning one tire while the other remained stationary. Even held the stationary tire with one hand and the d-shaft still did not spin with the spinning tire. Thats why you should spin both tires, posi or not, in the same direction.

Well, I found out I have to move up a few feet for the 4HI to engage, my BAD.

As for the ratio, the drive shaft spun 1full turn and before the second it stop
between 11 and 12 o'clock, so thats a little over 1 3/4 turn.
So I don't know what that would be, I thought it had to turn 2 full revolutions
to be in the 2's and 3 to be in the 3's

Do you have the sticker in the glovebox still? Look at the codes.

GT4- AXLE,REAR,3.73 RATIO
GT5- AXLE,REAR,4.10 RATIO
GU2- AXLE,REAR,2.73 RATIO
GU4- AXLE,REAR,3.08 RATIO
GU5- AXLE,REAR,3.23 RATIO
GU6- AXLE,REAR,3.42 RATIO

That should tell you too.
