How come these mods don't stop? TONS OF PICS...beware

Well I want to go ahead and 4 link the front and rear, but I do not have the time or desire to set it all up on the factory frame. What I would really like ot do is get a near rolling full tube chassis ready for the 14bolt and D60 to be welded up to the links.

My frame is in great shape so going full tube would be the only way i would change since I already have the cage and such done on mine.

Because of family reasons and the fact that the "bucket" hasn't left the garage in almost a year while I have been gone. I am thinking of selling her.

Just wanted to see what kinda of price you guys would think would be fair?

I was thinking 3-5 grand? Since the axels and drivelines cost half that and she runs great at the flip of a switch. I think I could get more parting it out, but I do not have the time.

I think around 4 or so would be fair.

I'm gonna go ahead and play devil's advocate though, don't do it. You'll get a chance to enjoy it eventually. Starting from scratch isn't fun. I've done it once and am about to do it again. :doah:

Hey Mikey, thanks for the input. It has been a long time since I've made the board even. How's your ride? I've got responsibilites to take care of is my main reasoning and it looks like I will be deployed most of the year again with work.

Started a tube buggy, taking it to scrap in a week because I don't have enough time and money to finish it. Bought an EFI Toyota that the 1-tons and 40's will be going underneath next month as well as a host of other things.

Responsibilities as in financial obligations or just not enough time to use it? I think if it's not costing anything you should hang onto it, but if the money is better spent on a hobby you can enjoy, then so be it. Just make sure and sell it to someone that will wheel the everloving piss out of it. :D

I take it this means you don't want to purchase my built TH400? :D

Looking at what I'm spending on the Toyota and what you listed the bucket for...I paused a bit and thought about buying it. :doah:

well i just read all of this and i wish i was there cause i would come and buy this from you right now. sad to see it go after all the hard work.

I'd be happy to meet for a delivery :) I can borrow a trailer if need be. That makes me feel better that you guys agree on price. I had a user earlier email about how it seemed a bit high. I knew I wouldn't get what I had invested in it but I thought the offer was fair.

4000 is a steal. if anybody says that is too high they are just trying to rip u off cause they want it. hell if i was you i would ask 6000 for it. still worth every penny for someone that does not want to do the work themselves.

I am asking more outside this forum. I would happily sell it for less to a memebr here that will appreciate it. We bought it brand new with the plastic still on the interior and I hope it gives somelse the joy it has given our family for almost 30 years.

you bought it brand new.:eek1: thats one hell of a progression for one owner. $4000 is a steal. shame you need to sell it.

My grandfather bought it new. I was 2 at the time. I've got many hunting pictures in it :)

Bozo, Sorry to hear about ya selling the rig. We never got to do any wheeling together! Might be in Arkansas this year.

Do what ya gotta do bud!

Do you have a High res copy of picture number 4 in post 196?

Wow I just read the whole thread, great build. Sad to see its for sale. Hopefully a member here buys it so we can still see it in action. You have pretty much convinced me to get kerts tube doors lol!
