How do can you set up your glow plugs to control them manually?

I have a 91 Suburban with the 6.2l diesel. I would like to set it up so I can control the glow plugs manually by a toggle switch on the dash. Does anyone know how to do this on a 91? I still want the glow plug system to work normally, but I would like to have this toggle as a manual override for when the GP controller decides not to cycle. I am hopeing this will help eliminate my hard starting problems I have when the glow plugs don't come on. Thanks.

I'd say do a quick search in this forum for "manual glow plug" and you should find everything you need fairly quickly.
