How do I change this light?

I need to change my left turning siginal light... the one inside next to the shifter needle. I know that I have to unscrew about everything I see, but I never went after the lights. Is this as much of a pain as changing normal gage lights? I sure hope not. :o

Some of the older versions have enough room to reach up from below the dash, at least that's how I got all my guage lights working. It is uncomfortable, but less work than tearing the whole dash apart.

x2, that's how I did mine as well.

Smack the dash. Seriously, I had a light go out, got pissed, smacked the top of the dash and it came on and has been every since, that was like 7 months ago. :D If that doesnt work, go to plan "B" . lol

Mine is a 1990 I don't think thats old enough. I don't mean to be angry, but when I got it back from getting the A/C flowing this occured.

I don't know what year this changed, but the '90 or '91 dash I got doesn't have removable bulbs, the socket/bulb is an assembly, and that means you have to remove the whole setup from the backside.

If you can reach it, great, but if not, the whole cluster has to come out.

Assuming, original poster, that is the case for the other lights you had to replace?

Yes that is what I meant dyeager. I believe it was the 90 that it changed in but I could be wrong. As far as smacking the dash, I have now bent the copper tabs on the bulb holders and now all of my lights on the dash work, and stay lit, except the 4 wheel drive indicator. That one flashes as I bounce through the hills.

I didn't change the lights myself, I had a shop do it when it went in to have the A/C flowing again. When I got it back I had this issue.
