I just opened the D-side triangle window on my 85' siverado and the D@#! frame is broke lose at the pivot point on the bottom. it looks like it sheared right off. how in the world can you fix that?! - justin

just pull it shut again and close it up. mine was broke on my truck for a long ass time. i just left it broke for when i locked my keys in my truck. made a perfect back up plan. just pop it out reach in and unlock the door.. noone ever thought to check there either

if you wanna fix it right it's a little work but sure someone can find a thread on it for ya

yeah i deffinatly want it right. i smoke and like using that little window, not to mention if you adjust it just right on a hot summer day you can achive the nut breeze that the jeep boys get w/ their leg out the door:doah:

LMC catalog has the replacement parts, or the whole assembly. (Pg. 15 in mine.)

You have to pull the inner door plastic thingy off and unscrew a couple of screws and the screws on the top of the door frame and it should slide right out and a junkyard one will slide in. Make sure the window is down.

the stud on the frame is broken and my lmc shows a picture but not a part number or listing. now using the junk yard thing you mean the frame? just not too clear sorry.

Gm Part #

15634473 vent window assy left side
15634474 rt side

I also have two other numbers

15634471 and 15634472... I think these were the earlier models

with any of these you will need the window latch assy or you can swap over your old one... all you need is a small punch and a torx/phillips (I cant remember now)..
