How do I get the armrests off?*Problem Solved*

1991 Sub. I'm trying to take the front buckets apart to wash the seat covers and I can't figure out how to get the armrests off. /forums/images/graemlins/angryfire.gif All I can see in there is a screw that adjusts how for down they go. Anyone had them off before? /forums/images/graemlins/usaflag.gif

There should be a zipper or velcro on the bottom, undo it and pull the cover off the outside enough that you can see the screw. There should be a torx or an allen head screw that holds the armrest to the seat back. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

These have no zippers or velcro anywhere on the seats. Just hog-rings at the bottom. What else do you suggest? /forums/images/graemlins/usaflag.gif

I'm having same issue with my 88 Sub. Did you find any armrest pads BTW?

if you dont have a zipper or anything, try tugging on them a little? did you try taking that adjuster screw off to see what happened? just tryin to throw ideas at ya /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Figured it out! You have to work the cover back a ways then there is a 3/4" pivot bolt that holds the armrest to the seat frame. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif /forums/images/graemlins/usaflag.gif
