How do I get this apart?

I've not done that type but it looks like a simple press out job. Support the bearing carrier and press out the pinion gear. Or am I missing something?

I have a BFH.... But how? What am I supposed to do to make what happen?? I don't have a bearing puller, so....

hit the pinion where the pinion nut was. Trying to force the pinion out of the pinion housing.

Be sure to put the nut back on the pinion before you hit it or the threads will be toast and the pinion junk. ;)

PM'ed ya. Store me in your cell.... I'll always call it first to reach ya - if I don't reach ya there, I try your house.

Sometimes putting the pinion nut back on still won't save the threads. I have a chunk of 2" solid brass round stock that I use for that. Works alot better and won't thrash the threads. :)
