This is one spot that has annoyed me for the past 5 years.

Anyway I can pull it and get it to look good?
Or am I going to have to cut it and weld a new section in?

This is the section right in front of the passenger rear tire.

eesh, thats some tough metal work there.... lots of creases...

i could do it, but it would take a while... and my full arsenal of hammers and dollies... need a torch too.. alot of shrinking and stretching needed....

Looks to me like the tire got it while flexing. As stated is possible to fix and will take a little patience.you will most likely need to get to the back side of the fender to dolly and work it.

The good part is the back side of that area is nice and open. I'd say if you removed the tire you'd have lots of room to work on it, plus there isn't much you could do that would make it look worse. ;)

Body work

I've been doing body work for over 18 years now and I would definetly get a new piece and weld it in. That thing is rough:eek1: and would take more time than it is worth to straighten it out. And unless you are a master sheet metal artist there is going to be alot of body filler to make it look right. Just my opinion though.

Looks like I might just buy a replacement panel later on.

Another question I need to paint my bed rails and I need some primer suggestions. Epoxy, spray can ****, etc..?

The current primer on there doesnt seem to be doing a good job since I can see some surface rust on it :(
