How do i put an 83 clip onto a 78 K5?

I picked up a 78 K5 today and want to put my 83 k5 front end (fenders radiator support, hood etc) I have on my parts k5 onto the 78.
Reason being i like the 4 headlights better, and the hood is better...

Anyone done this?

So i found the article in the tech section (dah...)
Anyone have some better pictures of this hole i need to cut...

Do i have to attatch (bolt/weld) the hing somewhere?

anyone have a picture of where i'm mounting he bottom bracket... from what i gathered of the article i need to bolt/weld it to the firewall?
