How do I remove tint?

The guy that owned my truck before me threw on one of those beautiful do-it-yourself window tinting kits from Wally World or where ever. Of course, it looks like complete ass. How do I get it off?

Does it all come off like that, or is it just a big sticky mess after?

i wated till it was cold got a corner started and the whole thing came off, then clean the gule off with your coise of thinner, carb cleaner works too /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif

Razor will get the tint off but there is a film of adhesive still on the window so then use the acitone.

If its the cheap kind and is old, it may come off in pieces, instead of 1 piece. Razor blade and I used carb clean to clean the glue. But if its a pro tint job, good luck getting the glue off!

ther is a adhecive remover for tint if you have a rear defroster and don't use the remover It will come off with the tint. you use to be able to get it at wal mart.but if not any custom shop or place where they tint windows should have it. razor blade is grate on the rest.

Using a heatgun works very well too

my tint guys pulls tint almost every day, we use a steamer to put some moisture behind it. That seems to work better than anything else i have seen, the more you get the first time pulling, the less scraping and using thinners later.
