How do I set them up?

What tools are involved? I will be acquiring a 14 bolt this weekend and will have to put in a set of perches ,I have a welder to tack them in. I will need to get an angle finder.

The best way is to assemble everything at normal ride height (weight on tires). Set the appropriate pinion angle, tack it and disassemble to burn it in. It's a lot of work, but there are a lot of variables here and this is only way to eliminate them all.

Theoretically if your old axle was right you could carefully copy that.

Yes use your u bolt to hold it all together while you set your angle. No need to torque down while doing set up.
