How do I tie these into my brake system?

I was actually getting on here to ask pretty much the same thing. I know there was an online article that I read...thought it was on CK5 that talks about the adapters need to go from the factory hard lines to the rubber brake lines on a rear disk conversion...anyone know what I'm talking about??

The fitting on the frame should have a longer softline going to the axle T. Then you use two hard lines from each side of the T to go to each caliper. Those soft lines go between the caliper and the ends of the hard lines.

You can get universal straight pieces from any parts house in varying links. You'll have to bend them yourself to follow the contour of the axle housing. Take your rubber hoses with you to get the correct size.

I got all my disk conversion breaklines from Inline tube. Went with SS braided lines from the factory hard break line that ends at the frame. Got 3 26" long braided lines, T fitting, banjos and banjo bolts. also got the all the small fittings that connect the lines to T blocks and banjos. Total was about $125 for it all and works great but I just need to tiddy up the lines a bit. Spoke to Mike at Inline 3-4 time over several weeks and he remembered my situation each time and had great customer service.

the lines pictured in that ebay photo are from a 79 chevette I'm 99% sure. Their is another one that'll work that are about 3" shorter and perfect. Go to parts store and look them up. I'll post a carquest part number of the ones I'm gonna use. Same look and ends at least they bolt up correctly.

those are some expensive brake lines, they are chevette, pick them up at a local parts store for about 12 bucks a piece

The hardline that threaded into your drum brake wheel cylinder will now thread into one end of those rubber lines.

I just bought a pair of chevette lines and I can't get the hard line to thread into the 3/8-24 fitting on the chevette hose. Are the hard lines that went to the wheel cylinder supposed to be 3/8-24 or do I need some adapter fitting?
