yeah I loved the look of your truck too but this seems to be turning out pretty cool. cant wait to see it finished.

todays. Need to get back braces in so it doesn't look so boxy

well did some more today. STill looks goofy, I may ditch the 4 seater idea but will try it out. If anyone does this start with a blazer frame and floor!

I'd ditch the rear seats and angle the rear top portion forward more. Safer and more eye appealing.

The rear seats are neat but look scary to me. No full on harness, I'd hope you only plan to use them in very light conditions. No support, looks like someone could get tossed around real good in those.

And I'll do the Pirate thing, needs triangulation. Cage is nice but needs more triangles to be really strong.

One of the better looking truggies I've seen. Tapering the rear will give it a hummer-esque look.

oh, I have lots of triangulation planned just can only do so much in a day, today I got my sliders and floor kinda figured out and my headlights put together and on. I have some 2 point harnesses for the back seats and it'll be a deal of cruisin the trail but when it gets western the back people will have to get out. I designed everything to join for the rear onto the B hoop so I can cut it off and start over easy on the back if the 4 seater doesn't fly... which I am think it won't.

started playing with some skins while I was bored today. They are just sitting there with gravity and bungee cords and not trimmed completely yet

sheetmetal sucks.. keep it all tube! I like what you did with the narrowing (of what was left of the tub). Its pretty similar to what I plan on doing... except I am gonna have a LC-like hoop by the grill and only need to seat 2.

out of curiousity, how wide is your rig at the outside of the sliders?

j

it is 5' wide to the inside of sliders so prob around 64" overall wide. These will be removeable skins for sheet

Laid the windshield frame back to 40* instead of 10*. Looks alot better. Taped out some more of what it will need done. Also started on my rear triangulation behind the seat but is not pictured here. Need to start collecting parts to 4 link rear and chop off a bunch of excess.
