how do i weld a axle for posi???????

im tryin to get some info on how to weld a s/f 14 bolt axle for a cheaper alternitive for a locker,seeing as im going to a f/f 14 bolt in the future that axle will get a locker.but for now i want to weld the one i got,is this a dumb idea or not?????and whats thee right way to do it???

If you are going to upgrade then do not weld your current axle. There are people who will buy it. welding it may narrow that field of potential buyers.

I wouldn't bother welding it, there's a 14 ff at the pick n pull in wadsworth IL
