Thinking up some tube barn-door craziness, for the beast....

How do you guys attach the skins to tube?

Thanks in advance. :thumb:

The Zeus fasteners are BADASS. We used those on the Lucas oil koh car. Stupid simple to use and beyond strong enough. Worth the cost. ;)

I used self drilling sheet metal screws to attach the skins to the tube on my truck

But I don't consider it a buggy. Buggies generally have good fab work, mine is more like redneck junkyard hack work. Dzus fasteners would look severely out of place, sheet metal screws are a little more applicable to my work:doah:

I do what Dan does, I build brackets to hide the fastners for the most part and then use sheetmetal screws,

The only time my panels come off is when I replace them so dzus fasteners aren't really needed

The Dzus fasteners are awsome. We us them on the stearman fusalage sheet metal. Plane can do like 120-130 and is rated for aerobatics and they work great. Last place you want something to fail.

Kert's panel mount tabs with 3/8 nuts welded to em with countersunk ss allens...
