How do you clean your nuts?

I use one of these to wash my nuts. You can buy your own or just go down to the local golf course. It is hot and sweaty playing golf in the summer, so golfers like to stop periodically and wash their balls. I never understood golfers. I'd rather do it in the privacy of my home.

I use carb/brake cleaner and if they are too nasty for that (rust), I replace them.

I've always reused stuff that I can, always cleaned them in a pan with paint thinner and a brush.

I do loc-tite, nyloc nut or use a lock washer on basically everything though.

I re-use certain stuff too, but I use a media tumbler for that. No scrubbing involved.
