How do you guys reattach exterior trim???

I just installed new trim on my k5 blazer (lmc trim) not to long ago and it is started to pill off. How should I reattach it? It was all tape on.

get hi quality 3m tape or emblem glue...heck i've stuck em on with rtv!

3m trim adhesive is very sticky and will hold well for a lot of years. RTV can work but why not just buy the stuff that is designed for the intended purpose.

I should also tell you that my buddy didn't want to pull the fenders on his 79, but he did want the emblems attached, so he removed the nuts and glued them on using that adhesive, I don't think you could pry them off without breaking them and taking paint off.
