Inspired by the upcoming BB07 event and Colby's 14b detroit install, now I want to know about the front 10bolt, like the title says....

Will be buying a lockright soon, just not yet.
Thinking of doing it myself to save money and need some insight. I did a search and all I got was 10b vs d44, which locker?, lockright in 14b?, etc... nothing in reference to my question...

Thanks in advance

Take off the hubs (lockouts/drive flanges), wheel bearings, hub w/rotor and spindle. Remove the axle shafts. Take off the diff cover. Remove the small bolt that locks the cross pin (~1/4", sometimes an allen wrench). Remove the cross pin. Remove the spider gears. Replace spider gears with locker. Reassemble.

Pretty easy, the locker should come with directions.
