how hard is it to do a heater core?

There aint no best way, its a pain in the butt. You have to take the heator/AC box on the inside completly out so you can take it apart and unscrew the heater core from it. Its mounted inside.
Get one of the tech manuals from your locak auto parts store and it explains it pretty well.
