What would Be a good size suspenssion lift kit, just to go play in the mud.
With a set of 35 inch tires.

Also, what would be a good body lift to compliment that?

Well to warn you this has been covered and covered. If you go to the what would my truc look like with.... Thread you can see eBay others have done.
With thatsaud you could run anything for 35s. A 4 inch would work great since you won't be flexing as much. There's no need for a body lift. Go look around and you will see what works. Good luck

Same as he said...a 4 would be sufficient but 6 would b better..I'm fixing to do it all over again on my new proj. And I'm gonna start with 35s till I can afford the 37s with a 6inch...if you were going to crawl I'd get a 4 to keep a low center of gravity and cut some fender out a tad and not only is a body lift un neccesary but an eyesore and can be a pain in the but..my old 87 had one when I bought it and sometimes I'd pull it into 4wd and I'd start getting after it and itd kick back down to 2wd

don't take this wrong but with 35s the mud probably won't be too deep, Or you will get stuck before the really deep stuff, I would say 4" suspension and a 2" body if thats the way you want to go.

Most poeple I know who have asked me similar questions end up doing a 6" lift over all whether its all suspension or both body and suspension. 35s fit that with no trimming.

If it were me I would trim the fenders throw the 35s on spend the money saved on suspension on a locker :D

you still need flex for in the mud. you can't get traction if your tires aren't touching the ground. say your trying to climb out of some deep ruts or trying to go faster thru it and it's bouncing all over. do only a 4" lift in the front and a shackle flip in the back. trim fenders to fit. less arched springs = more flexible.

Give us more details than just "mud".

Do you want ground clearance? Do you want the ability to go with a larger tire in the future? Do you want to spend extra for stuff like longer driveshafts, brakelines, steering corrections, etc.?

If it were me, I'd go with a 6" lift and still invest in new and longer parts to replace the shorter ones. With 6", you have the option to go larger later.

I have 4" suspension and 3" body, the truck looks good and it still gives you enough room if you wanna move up to a 37 or so later on....

in answer to the thread question - depends entirely on the grass.... and the method of exposure to its effects :D

Had 4' w/ 35's years ago, they looked good, but will rub the back of the fender when turned all the way, if you hit a good bump.
