How Important Is Is To Seperate Power And Signal Cables In Amplifier Wiring

Remeber, ground is your friend and should be 18in or less.

very true. just went thru my wiring this weekend. my engine whine was from a ground that was insufficient, or too long. it was about 2ft long, i cut it to 10" and drilled a new hole, fixed it right up. i was hoping the fatter cable(used 4ga)would allow me to run a longer ground. i know your already done w/ your install but i thought i'd throw that in here.

Bad ground is 99% of the time the culprit in engine noise... whether it be a bad ground @ the deck (stock grounds almost always suck) or a bad ground @ the amp.

alway run them separately,

a ganunteed way of getting noise int he system

I use the higher quality stuff and still run them seperately. Power cable down one side of the car and RCA cables (Patch cords) down the other.
