some kid at work said he can get my filters and oil pretty cheap. i have no choice in it. all he can get is fram.

if fram is crap ill just spend the extra and get something better

thanks

we're getting an O'rielly's...now I can get Wix filters in town!!

I was always told fram was the best?? So what is the best? that link didnt really tell me anything. I had no idea how to interpret it.:dunno:

I'll have to switch to them then, I live 1 block away from o'rilleys. If i can get em there :waytogo:. I'm glad I read this cause I'm bying the stuff to do my burb thursday, I would have got fram to. thanks

wix and napa gold are identical if you only have a napa.. the golds, not the regular napa's...

NAPA gold, made by WIX.....easy to find, that's all I buy now.

Fram made their reputation on advertising. The extra guard or tough guard are better than the cheapies, but WIX for the win!

haha, ditto Paul, we were on it.

Ive been using the k&n oil filters for a while now, there not much more and seem like a quality filter.

the problem with K and N's is that there to restrictive especially in cold start situations

I run 20-50 in my 358 and when its in the mid 30s it gets pressure right away. In colder temps i dunno tho i dont fire it up when its any colder, so you could be right. Although i run them on my 2500hd with 10-30 synthetic and it gets good oil pressure at all temps right away.

Luberfiner for diesels..... WIX for everything else....

I wouldn't put a fram on my riding lawnmower....pure junk.

cut open a fram and a wix..... you will see the difference..
