Ebay is a good place to get a deal on amps. Look for brands like TREO, MMATS, ARC, SOUNDSTREAM, CROSSFIRE, ...ect. MTX, Keenwood, Alpine, Pioneer are also good for mid-grade amps.

Interesting, alot of those "namebrands" you mention for top brand sound like amps i can find out at the swap meet, never heard of 'em. /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

How much are you wanting to spend and how do you want it to sound?
I like JL Audio, but it is a little too $$$pricey$$$ for what most people want. For a CD Player I run a JVC KD-SH909, it is also very nice.

[/ QUOTE ]Nothing wrong with Pioneer at all. I just think you get alittle more for your money with JVC. JVC's name isn't as big as Pioneer, Kenwood, Alpine, ...ect., so you usely get more features for the same price. I also like Clarion alot. /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif
