........ How is the quality for LMC parts?

Everything I've ordered have been quality parts. I've ordered a lot of interior pieces. I've heard of some people having problems with some of the weatherstripping, but I ordered a whindshield seal and it fit like a champ.

The bulk of the weatherstrip I have seen from LMC lately has been illfitting and poor quality. Check out ClassicParts.com as their quality seems to be much better for weatherstrip. Can't speak for the interior parts from LMC, as I have only ordered the door sill plates from them.
Aramp has had some better luck that I have, so your mileage may vary with either of our recommendations.

I have ordered a lot of interior and exterior parts from LMC and ClassicParts. Neither of them are the quality of the original GM parts but the price is not as high either. The 1980 that I am building now has all new rubber seals, some new body parts and new interior parts. I like LMC a little better but you have to look at both to find some parts the other does not carry.
Alot of the parts I have ordered from Classic are GM. I have had to send more parts back to LMC then others. As far seals go http://www.soffseal.com/index.htm , might be the best but are high.

none of the aftermarket companies are selling GM parts, some are better copies than others....... LMC has the most variety...
Most of the stuff I have got from Classic has been GM, but not all.
Nothing I got from LMC has been all aftermarket.
I guess it just depends on what your ordering.
I want to order door & wind. weatherstrip
I would go with Classic Parts out of the two. Both are going to be aftermarket weatherstriping.

Ive bought several interior part and the quality is good, but with the brushed door trim pieces they were both damaged in the box! Box was perfect but parts were all scrached!
I ordered the door trim from LMC and they didn't look like GM do, so I sent them back and found some GM nos ones.

id go classicparts.com .lmc doesnt make consistent products from what i hear.

My brother in law has some weatherstripping from them that fits poorly. It has a noticeable fold where the window curves and it seems too big for the channel.
Well I bought the dual ehaust and turbo mufflers off them three years ago and still very happy with them in Ohio with salt and brine they use on roads. Have held up great.

Overall I'm pretty happy with lmc. Although it seems you should pick and choose what you order from them, like I said the door trim sucked but the replacement dome light cover ( lense) was a very good fit and looks original also they were happy to exchange door trim for non-factory scrached units!
