I doubt I will make it to Moab by 8 in the morning Friday but would like to run hells revenge anyway and hopefully catch up with the group. So I guess the question is how long do you think you will be on the trail?

Probably quite a while.

What time do you think you'll be at the trailhead?

Maybe 10 at the earliest. I have to convince my Dad he wants to split an all nighter with me. If he doesn't go for it then I will probably leave Cali at like 8pm Thursday which gets me to Moab at like 6 or 7 and then after a quick nap I will be good to go

Travelling by yourself, you should be able to catch up to the group if you get there within a couple hours of the start time.

Thats what I want to hear. I am so excited, this week is going to be so long, the first real week of school after 3 months off, all boring and hard classes and an amazing adventure to Utah to look forward to. 11 more days...11 more days...

Im doing an all dayer on thursday from concord. hope to get there around 10pm thurs night. Its one long boring drive.

It will be a all day affair on Hells and large groups travel slow.
It's fairly easy to catch up. Last year I didn't hit the trail until 10 ish
and the guy that I hooked up with in the AM kept breaking down.
I even ran back into town for parts he needed and still caught up with the group
just in time to help out with a roll over.

Figure that everyone will start bailing out of the trail around 3 or 4 to get to the BBQ.
If you can get to the trail head, hang out for a few or check in town for someone to join you heading in. It's always safer to head in with someone else if possible.

I keep forgetting to ask this. How far in did that flop happen and will someone let me know when we get to that spot?

just after the hot tub that everyone was playing in. he didn't have a passenger, and i was in front of him, he felt his left wheel go down a bit, so he went to the right, but his right wheel went off the ledge, and over he went. as long as you follow the black tire tracks, you'll be fine.

and this is the last pic of his truck before the roll.

The area isn't bad but when you turn to line up for the down hill you have to go slow until the front of the rig drops enough for you to see the marks and the spotter. You will want to swing out to make the corner and get lined up to go straight down.

It is down hill on slick rock and has great traction.
