average blazer cage? i'm talking full interior cage - from the windshield to the cargo space.

IIRC it's about 300 feet. You need to account for mistakes and also a little extra here and there that will get cut off and become scrap.

I think 300 feet is enough for a buggy. I have about 140 feet into my cage/front bumper/rear bumper...

Wastage can be mitigated by making the larger pieces first, so if you have a problem you can make a few smaller chunks from the 'mistake' piece.

Well damn. Guess he could always buy 300 feet then give me the leftovers so i can build a cage as well. :D

Oh well, so i'm off a few feet. :eek1:

300 ft----holy heck i think i have about 150 at the very most in my cage and thats eveything including the front. if someone is charging you for 300 ft thats crazy.

4x4high just about gave me a heart attack...

Come awn man, help a brother out, just buy 300 feet and i'll figure out how to get the leftovers down to me. :haha:

maybe he was thinking full exocage with integrated bumpers and rock sliders and some axle locaters and a little bit left over:eek1:

I have close to 300 foot in mine, but it is a little overkill.

I'm getting close t ordering my tubing so keeping with the topic....

which tubing should be used? Type, thickness, size, etc...

thanks guys - i probably won't do quite as much as you've done - maybe i'll build a good skeleton and perhaps someday if i get good enough at wheeling to need a hardcore cage i can add to it! :)
