How many miles have you put on the stock 350? The spedo broke at 110K I think there is about 140k on the motor. I'm hoping to get another 40k on it before a rebuild. Is this possible?

My '86 305 is at 220K and going. It won't die. I wish it would so I could go bigger, but it won't.

My 78 k5 only goes to 99 999kms so I am not sure how long it lasted before I threw it away in favor of a GM crate 350. Now my old 81 Grand Prix has over 300 000 kms and runs real strong to this day. All depends on how bad the motor was maintained and raped.

I got just a hair over 360k miles out of a 73 before I pulled it. Not that it was running very well at that point.

I'm the second owner on my '73, it has about 107,000 original miles. Had around 90,000 when I got it!

Had many..

I had at least 6 mid 70's 350's with well over 200K on them--more than one had at least 300K,when the original speedometer died at 200+K and was replaced..never blew any of them up either--most of them did use some oil though, but not so much you couldn't drive them without getting pulled over..

160k - just yanked the stock ac and cruise control so the speedo stopped working last weekend. Yes, i'll look into fixing that in a bit. It is running surprisingly strong now that i've fixed various rough running issues. I expect to get at least another 20,000. not using too much oil. I've bought timing chain and gears to put in as a preventative measure (they are cheap as hell so why the f not) and i'll adjust the valves soon.
