Just curious how many folks are lucky enough to store their rig indoors?

It's under a carport (barely) until we move. Hopefully I an find a place with a garage or have one built no longer after we move

Mine's been indoors for the last 8 years but I was lucky, when my house was built (had the UAV before I moved) the builder only charged me 200.00 to upgrade from a 7 foot garage to an 8 footer. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

carport... one that has walls on 2 sides... not exactly sure if that qualifies as indoor or outdoor but, oh well. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

buying a house in 20 days to store it inside, /forums/images/graemlins/woot.gif w00t!

I store mine indoors when I know it's going to be down for a while. I have to swap tires to get it inside so it is only inside during the winter usually, when I know i'm not going wheelin' I bring it in.

8 ft truck 7 ft garage ,,,,,you do the math,,,,

Tim, you're forgetting the extra person needed to push the garage door up that last little bit so it will fit. unless you're plannin on taking out more clearance lights. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I store mine under a carport, mainly because it spent it's entire life in the desert of Arizona and Nevada and I was afraid it might get scared of the rain here in Texas.LOL TBill

It's going back in the garage this week sometime. But it'll be there for a while; the '87 C10 I'm acquiring as an organ donor will be taking up the spot where the K5 is now. Plus I need the room in the driveway, since my parents are moving in with my wife and I for a few months (they just sold their house and are still looking for their new place).

But once the K5 transformation is done it'll have to stay outside; it barely fits now on 33's with a 3" bodylift (which comes out to 6'6" overall height on my truck), and I'm going to 35's with 1" body and 4" suspension.

I don't like peanut butter, but I am naked /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif
