How many quarts to fill 12 bolt w stock cover?

And do most people fill it till its leaking out the fill hole or just below it? Oh also is the vent tube supposed to have something on the end of it?

prob around 3 or so qts will fill . if lifted and pinion angled up = more.

fill just to bottom of hole is normal.

and vent hose should be up to top of frame or body/box to keep water out. and yes little plastic vent with cap that flops around on it is in the hose also at the top.
