I have 5 and an overload.
But I've seen blazers with 3 and an overload and 4 with no overload.
I want a pretty soft ride. And I don't haul anything so i'm losing the overload for sure.

what are you guys running on your k5's?

I have or 7plus overload. Running a stock 1 ton set with a shackle flip and 2 leaves pulled. Still nice and soft.

I got 6 and I guess its called overload.I had to ad the 6th to bring the height up and level it.Seems to ride just fine but then again its a truck so I wasn't expecting a smooth ride.

typically more leaves with less arch will give a softer ride (exception is custom springs) than less leaves and more arch

removing the overload will not do anything for the helping of ride quality, it's there for for it's intended name purpose, when you weigh it down and the springs flatten out, it protects them from going too far, and helping keep things in alignment. Personally, i'd leave it in there.

hahaha

Keep the overload, remove others (smallest first) if you want.

There are a wide range of leaves used based on weight rating etc.
