how many splines does my 1977 stock dana 44 8 lug have ???

I think 30, but someone else should verify, I'm running on an old memory,

To the best of my knowledge all front D44 axles used in fullsize Chevy trucks had 30-spline axles.

19 spline outers and 28 inners. with 10 bolts in the last 2-3 years went 30 inners.

dana 60 had 30 outers stock and 35 spline inners . best upgrade is 35 dana 70 outers ,

In '77 the Dana 44 inners would be 30 spline.

When GM started using 10 bolts instead they dropped down to 28 spline, then eventually went back to 30.
