How much diff fluid for 14FF?

1 gallon maybe a little more if the axle is dry as a bone (nothing at the hubs or axle tubes).

Just top it off, take the truck out for a spin or wherever, then add more and just keep adding until the fluid level doesn't drop anymore. Shouldn't have to add more after 2 or 3 trips.

I used 5 quarts but I filled mine with the cover off and on jack stands. The spec is around 1 gal so with a GLO cover it should be right around 5 quarts. The fill drive and refill will work also.

Just make sure if you drive and refill to be careful as the hot fluid will expand and might spill out of the hole if it was close enough. You would be best to fill with 1 gallon then drive the vehicle and recheck the fluid level when cold and top off as needed. Having a diff overfull is a bad thing as it will airate and cause problems.
