How much does a k5 Cab Weigh?

I need to put the cab back on the frame of my k5, I was wondering, without the seats, carpet, dash, and front clip, how much does the cab weigh? Could 4 guys lift it? If anyone else has any ideas for me on how to put this thing back on I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

took six guys to lift a cab with no interior onto a frame at my house . Could of used less I suppose but six guys were there

Did you have any trouble or was it pretty light with 5 other guys helping?

pretty light with enough hands . Of course the seats , column , and top were off . There was only the dash electric , carpet , and brake booster on the tub .

Not "big" at all. It was a long and painful process and we were not concerned with any sort of body damage so we were just doing what we had to do to get it moved.

sweet! i forgot the hole for the t case shifter when i put mine on.it is a pick up cab and was heavy as hell with everything still in it.i drilled holes and sawzalled until the cab landed on the frame.

Hmmm comfortable lift weight of the average male is probably 120-150 lbs. So figure its around 900lbs +
