I bought some 37x12.50x15 Goodyear MTR's am going to mount them on my stock cucv wheels. I have a 86 k5 with all stock suspension yet. I have a ORD 4 inch shackleflip kit, but never put it on. Post your best combos here im getting ready to buy parts! Also, what about killer shocks and the best springs?:thumb:

Not trying to be a smart ass but look at the sticky at the top, thats how I worked mine out.

3" Tuff Country lift, 37" MT/R's and a little trim. They do rub just a bit when flexed but not bad enough to do anything about it.

Rather than going with a larger lift... I like the combo of ~4" lift and some trimming... for superior "vehicle dynamics" reasons IMO.

Relevant hijack on-
I have 3" front springs, 1" zero rate, and 1" body lift. If I move the axle forward by 1.5" (using the zero rate) and just chop the front "jowls" off the truck... can I fit 37" MTR's without rubbing? Will I have driveshaft issues? (stock driveshaft/10 bolt up front)... 3/4 ton.
-Relevant hijack off

Most likely with moving the axle forward you will run into driveshaft issues. Most likely it will be to short. You might not rub near the firewall but it might rub the front part of the inner fender.

The way my truck used to be setup:

4" lift and 37" MT/R's, tires were far from the firewall. You definitely don't need to move the axle forward to clear anything less than 40's.

And one to show how the fenders are trimmed (they are actually cut up higher all across the fender too since they were rusty)
