everything depends on what you want to do with it. if you're going to wheel it - and you're really against cutting fenders, go w/ the 4" susp. and the body lift. if you're not actually going to wheel it, they'll fit just fine w/ the body lift.

I had 35's with 10" of lift and no fender trimming and they would rub all the time when wheeling.

 unless you're kidding you either had some ubelievable flex or a combination of that and some interesting back spacing on your wheels, i suppose.

I ran 35-16.5/16.5 boggers on 12" rims under a 8" superlift. they rubbed when I would flex it. I ran bushwhacker cut-outs and even cut the inner fender liners up about a foot. the tires before didn't rub as bad, they were 35-12./15 on a 10" wheel under a 6" lift. backspacing and tire width play a big factor.

keep the sway bar on and get a 4" suspension. unless your going to do some serious flexing, then get a 6" with the body lift.

I run 40's on 2" of lift, I dunno what all you guys need these massive suspension lifts for...

my old 79 had 36" tsl's on stock rims and no lift. I cut the fenders and mini tubbed the rear and it fit no problem. Lots of work though but it wheeled better then the rig in my sig. Its all about the :hack: :grind: :weld: and anything can be done.

time to get out the:hack: when i got my 89 i put on 35X12.5 and trimmed the front fenders just a little bit and wheeled it like that a few times, worked great.

47 million more times. Thats why I put up the same thread you did! Guess it wasn't worth the sticky!:haha:

Nope, nothing fancy here, just an old pile of junk :haha:

It has about 9.5" of lift in these pics with some 38.5" Ground Hawgs that measure about 37". It had a 3" body lift with 6" front springs and a .5" zero-rate-type block. The shocks acted as limiting straps and the spring eye bottomed out against the frame on compression, otherwise it would have flexed more. You can see the front tire rubbing the fender with the tires turnde straight ahead. If I would turn the streering wheel, the tires would really eat the fenders.

Thanks.

It was a nice truck, but the frame got weak and cracked a few times, so I scrapped the truck.

Here's a couple more randumb pics...
