Optical illusion, I know what you see, you think it's 1/2" thick, look at the left side where it's not ground you will see it's normal thickness 1/8 or 3/16".

that is the stock cover, the cutter cut the lip off. I'm thinking of sending it to 4X4IRON to beef it up....
