hey im installing a new high stall torque converter in my other ride and i was woundering how much oil you all would put in it b4 i attach it to the tranny. just lay it on the ground face up and add how much oil i know its not rocket science but i was just curious what you guys do thanks

Depends on how large the convertor is but most convertors of average diameter hold about 8 quarts. I like to wait to add any fluid until after the tranny is in. Once it's in add 4 quarts then start engine and immediately add 4 more quarts then start checking fluid level.
