How much play/wiggle does your front shaft have????

Changed my oil and greased every fitting I had last night. I noticed my front driveshafts splined slip part can be wiggled by hand. Never had a problem with it pulling out or anything, and I have yet to break the original u-joints. Just curious as to how normal this is. I plan on getting a new front one to match my rear in the future. I packed it full of grease. /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif

after 6 inch lift, and quite a few miles, the sucker actually twisted the splines right off... got a front ds out of a suburban and had .750 thou cut out of it problem solved!

The one in my truck is kinda sloppy. I bought a spare that is actually less sloppy so I am going to switch them soon.

Old one was sloppy and too short, new HAD is tight!!!!
