For the rear i am going to buy some axles shims just curious how much. ill get a pic up when it stops raining. figured i would ask if someone has the same set up. the rear is a 14 bolt FF. ive got a diy4x shackle flip with 4.5 shackles 2 inch tc ezrides and a 1 inch zero rate. its not to bad but needs o be shimmed. any thoughts?

do u no how many degrees the angle is? u can pick up a degree finder for cheap, its definitely worth it.

I have the same problem but with a 6" lift. I have a degree finder but can't remember about what a decent angle is. Did you by any chance get any answers yet. Otherwise I will let you know if I find out.

driveshaft angle

Is that what you run yours about? I think mine was Quit a bit more than that with a 2" lift.

Nobody has a truck exactly like yours. Get an angle finder. Then set the pinion to the same angle as the T-case.

3-5 degrees is what the angle needs to be to be sure there is no vibration. But this is determined by the lift, wheelbase, etc., not your shims. The angle in each U-joint has to be the same. If this comes out to be 8, 12 or 15 degrees, so be it. If you have angles like this and can't live with the vibes, get a C/V driveshaft and the set the pinion angle all over again.
