How much will this actually sell for???

I see rust in the doors. I think it would probably go for 7k. Maybe 8 but nearly 35:haha:

Yeah I think they have one too many zeros on that price. I bought my 100% rust free '83 K5 diesel for $500 bucks but I got way lucky and found it by accident.

I'm going to keep track of that ad and see what it goes for. What people pay is what it's worth.

What someone is willing to pay for it is what it's worth. Personally, I wouldn't give $3k for it, but I think the 70's trucks are ugly and I'm used to rust free trucks on CL all day long around here. It would be cheaper for someone to find a truck out here, fly out to look at it, and have it shipped back east.

Eh I think I'd pay 8k. It's clean and assuming it runs perfect. It's nice to have an old vehicle that doesn't need anything to be a driver. I'm from Cali/AZ and I'm used to rust free too. Living in the Midwest right now opened my eyes to the value of the vehicles we're accustomed to. I had an 80' out here for a year. Bought it for 4200 and sold it for a small profit just cuz it was rust free.

at least put a factory grille and a straight bumper on it.

crackhead for sure

I think $7-8k is a good price. My dad paid $6k for a rust free 77 C30 crew cab dually, but that was like 8 years ago. Maybe its my computer, but the chrome on that front bumper looks wavy, leading me to believe its an aftermarket replacement.

EDIT: Just noticed the dent on the top of the bumper. Probably from somebody standing on it. Most likely a cheap knock off. Now you have to wonder how many parts were just ordered from an LMC catalog and how many are true original?

It looked like some sort of sealant on my screen. Oh well, it's not worth 34k either way.

It's clean but don't see 34k maybe 6500. We don't have many around here that are straight most have been rode hard and put up wet. For 34k I could buy every k5 on our local Craigslist lol.

Just based on the CL pics it looks pretty much fully restored. If the engine is as clean as the rest of it and it's reliable I think it could sell for $15-20k if you found the right buyer with money to burn. I think it could pretty easily sell for $10-12k. I don't know why you guys are thinking $3-8k? That seems really low to me.
