How much would you pay?

This ? is for a buddy. He knows a guy that has a 32 spline chevy 205 and he wants $600 for it by itself....... or $1000 for th400, 205, drive lines and cross member. The guy claims that they work great. I told my buddy that it was bout $400 too high (for everything) but he didnt beleive me. We bet a six pack on it and you guys are the judge. (Sorry six pack is only for the winner not judges.)

I would say to not pay more than about $300.00 for a 32 spline 205.

All depends on supply and demand. And how badly someone wants to shell out XXX-amount of dough.

Me, personally, if I wanted this setup badly enough, I'd pay $500, no more.

honestly around here all the people who have money pick them up cheap and re-sell them for a ton...i called a local guy and he told me the 500 i was gonna pay for mussybuddy's setup was a gift....he said he sells them for 800 to 1000 around here....thats why im gonna go up north to get mine....

enjoy the beer. it priced way to high. a 400 in a junkyard here would go for about $100. the t-case another $100. if the yard knew more specifics they might charge more but most places around here are just selling a trans and t-case. they don't care what model it is.
