How Much ??????

My good friend who I have known for years is selling his 1983 Blazer with the 6.2. In 93 he bought a long block from chevy and it ran good till head gasket blew. He took the heads to the local deisel guy and had them planed and other work but failed to replace the head bolts. According to his research when one should replace head bolts each time on a 6.2 when doing head work. Any how he replaced the 700r4 in early 80's then rebuilt it once. Has new a.c in it new headliner etc this is is baby and would fix whatever that broke. The wife always drove it so it has been babied and off roaded 20 times he told me.

Question is he is asking 2500.00 with the blown gasket and the paint is excellant and has been garaged its entire life. I got quotes for 1500.00 for replacing the gaskets and head bolt does any of these prices sould too high?
Is 2500.00 a fair price? Any input would be great.

if u cant drive who knows how many other issues it has. so u will have 4000 into the vehicle and still not have clue to what else it needs. for 4000 theres alot of other blazers out there.

This is a friend this is a daily driver not a pos. We have done trades since the early 80's so if that is all it is then that's it. It starts up and runs good but cant run it very long.

There's a guy in the classifieds from Boise, ID (not me) selling a 1-ton'd '84ish k5 that looks real nice inside and out with 'spensive bumpers for $4k, ready to roll. Food for thought.
