How often should i re pack my wheel bearings?

On my truck i do 70%city, 30% highway. No real heavy towing. All my trucks are eccentially large sedans that i alone drive in. . So how often should i pack them? Every 10k? 20k? 30k?

Considering how easy they are to check I would just do it once a year.

IIRC from when I worked at a GMC dealer, bearing service was done at around the 15k mark. This was for "normal duty" operation. Obviously if you go off road with any frequency than it would be done more often.

I was going to say every 50-100K, unless they are submerged in water/mud.....

I do mine every fall or shortly after I've been in any appreciable amount of water. Glacier runoff means doing it ASAP. Only takes an hour or so anyway.
