How or can I get a np205 behind my 700r4?

I thought I have looked around good enough to ask. I have a 1990 Blazer and would like to upgrade to a np205. Is there a better one than my np241 that is stock that would work? I don't do bogs. I just do trails and some feild mud, and we take it camping.

Nothing wrong with the NP241. Just keep it off the rocks so the case don't break and you'll be good. The NP241 has a lower ratio (2.72:1) than the NP205 (1.96:1)

Thanks for the info. Just look up a good local transmission shop to do the work?? I know nothing about transfer and trannies.

nope just order the spacer and you can assemble it all yourself its easy dude

it actually is fairly easy. i havent done it yet but ive got most of the stuff to do it. definatly something i would not pay somebody else to do.

x3; i don't really see how the 205 is an upgrade for what you stated you are using your truck for

Tho in my case I've ditched the 208 behind mine in favor of the 205 I had in the garage...
