How rare was ZY5 Exterior Decor Package?

Might be buying a dark red/white two tone 78 K5 with the ZY5 Exterior Decor Package and the PA6 white wagon wheels similar to the 2nd pic below but not as nice. How rare were these back in the late 70s/80s? I have only seen the the white hood option in pics, never in person. Mine needs new paint but totally rust free and miles look to be low and orig.

Yeah I rarely see these Blazers or trucks with the white hood appearance option. The one pic on top is a copper brown K5 that just sold on BAT for 48k. Seems ridiculous when you view the dirty engine and chassis pics. Not sure if the ZY5 had anything to do with that.

I've been around just been quiet on the site. Last 2 K5 builds I didn't do any pics or project threads.

If you come across that site please let me know. I have not been able to find the decal kit for this. My wrap guy can probably do it though with the correct colors. It has a rounded end towards the back and stops 3" from the edge.

I would agree on some packages like the Sno Chaser that would not be sold in Arizona or Florida but this was a package offered nationwide. Here's a 78 Jimmy with the ZY5 option and PA6 wheels.

Yep. You can see where the stripes were on the hood. 79 and 80 years used 3 color stripes where 77 and 78 had two stripes.

A wrap shop can do this easily. They can scale it exactly and scan your existing color to match.

I have a great affordable wrap guy. He did this on my Ram on his own which matches factory nicely. He has lots of colors to choose from.
