Hedman Tork step headers to 50 series 3 chamber flows 2-1/4" all the way through
on my new 383 stroker....????

Im anxious as hell to hear it... what do you guys think

Rumbly, quiet at idle for the most part. It probably will scream pretty good at high RPM WOT but not as much as the 40 series mufflers.

My 406 rumbles really agressive at idle but is pretty quiet.

I noticed that my 406 was actually quieter than my old worn out 350. Not as in tone but in noise coming from the motor, less clanking.

on a 383? on a 350 a 222/222 cam has a very slight lope, that one will be even less lopey. personally, i would've used 2 1/2" pipes over 2 1/4".
 
I think you will be pleased, 2.5" would have been a little better IMO but I think your golden
