How the hell do you get the fan off a 6.2?

I'm prepping the motor to go into my trail bitch and am trying to get the fan off. It will absolutely not budge. It doesnt have the slots in the side like fans from gas motors. I heated the hell out of it with a torch and beat the hell out of it with a hammer with no results. Is there a trick to this?

Don't know about the gasser setup.

On my '85 6,2l I just unbolt the 4 small nuts with a 1/2" wrench. Then it falls off the water pump studs.

Replace '85 with '87, and that's the same experience I had. Maybe you've got some weird aftermarket fan/clutch combo...??
